Politics is like the weather in New England: if you don’t like it, wait five minutes. Two days ago I argued that Obama should accept Hillary as his VP. Actually, I wrote the piece a couple of weeks ago—but I wasn’t comfortable making the case until Thursday. Suddenly, just when I’d embraced the notion, Clinton goes and mucks it all up. I just can’t imagine Obama letting her in after this. No self-respecting person would. Perhaps this was the point; perhaps Hillary wants not to be asked. Just more evidence that her sights are set on 2012…
